Chemistry is one of the important branches of science as it helps to solve the problems of the present and future, suggests sustainable use of energy and food production, also its study help to manage the environment. In the textbook of Baigrie, he has provided two texts on the elements of Chemistry and the structure of the atom. Both of the texts are informative and helpful for understanding the importance of chemistry in the present world. In the first text, titled as “The Elements of Chemistry,” author Lavoisier has tried to provide the idea of prime content and elements of chemistry. Lavoisier had given clarification to other scientists’ experimental work and presented the new results which had provided a new chemical context (Baigrie, 165).
